The Velvet Buttercream bakery caters to many types of customers, everything from the morning donut run to the weekend wedding cake. We strive for nothing but the best at a mere fraction of what our competitors charge.
The love for baking runs in the family with Aaron's great grandfather, Joe Romo(Died 1979), who owned and operated a bakery for twenty plus years. Now it's Aaron's turn at the reigns to continue the dream that his grandfather loved so dearly. The legacy lives on through Aaron and his passion to bring quality and flavorful new pastries to the playing field.
He started in the culinary world at the age of 14 working with his family at "Romo's Cafe" (what once was the Holbrook Bakery that Joe Romo owned). He continued his love for food by working as a pastry chef for four consecutive seasons at a popular country club. Followed by his chance to perfect his culinary skills at the Art Institute of Phoenix.
Aaron has worked in the culinary field for 13 years and is a well known cake decorator and pastry chef in his network of friends and family. With the help of several friends and family members, we hope to bring you the launch of "The Velvet Buttercream Bakery" by summer 2016 or possibly sooner.
